I retired from the military in February 2020 and started my new hobby as a substitute teacher. By March 17, everything was shut down, and I was forced to retire. Writing became something I enjoyed.

However, regarding the RV life, when the Jab mandate hit the government and Washington State, I was working for Job Corps, a government organization. They were really pushing for everyone to get it. I wasn’t going to because it came out too fast. I’m not against vaccinations, but I felt it needed to be tested longer and since the government was doing human trials, and there were plenty of volunteers, we decided to wait to see how things went. During that time, there was talk that unvaxxed employees would be let go, so Anna and I thought about living in our RV full-time. When I ended up leaving Job Corps and going to work for a funeral home in 2021, we put that idea on the shelf.

When our youngest left for trade school, we decided to push the button and sell everything. By May of 2024, we were in our RV, and on June 9th, we set out on the road, traveling the US and connecting with each other. It has been amazing to be with my wonderful wife. I have learned so much about myself and what I needed to work on as a husband and a man of God. My growth in the Lord and knowledge of Him have greatly increased.

I have used this time to evangelize the RV parks by passing my books out as I take my walks each day. It has been a great time of meeting people and connecting.

Traveling has given me an opportunity to meet people in churches across the US. I have led worship and preached in a few churches and it has been a wonderful time.

What God has placed in our lap, we have done to our best ability.

Calvary Chapel is an amazing association. They’re not a denomination. No headquarters or district offices. They don’t pass around an offering plate and make you feel bad if you don’t have anything to give that week. They preach through the Bible from cover to cover to ensure they don’t leave anything out. Jesus is the focus. John 14:6.

Anna and I have been married since March of 2015. I spent 24 years in the military and now because of that, I am able to be fully retired and travel.

I have always enjoyed playing music. I am a professional drummer, but as most musicians do, they pick up other instruments. I play the Guitar and Bass Guitar. I have a Banjo in storage, and enjoy playing it.

I lead worship at Calvary Chapel Moses Lake when I am in town. It is a blessing.
